Acupuncture is often an effective, safe, natural alternative to HRT (hormone replacement therapy).

The extent of your symptoms has a lot to do with your basic health before and during menopause. Overworking, not enough rest, poor diet causing inflammation, exposure to environmental toxins and endocrine disruptors - these can all worsen severity.

Acupuncture brings your hormones into balance and reduces anxiety through a process called homeostatic regulation. It has been shown to improve the function of the hypothalamic-pituitary-ovarian axis. This is the mechanism responsible for balancing reproductive hormones.

Jess starts with an evaluation in order to diagnose your own particular pattern and shares a devised treatment plan. Your personal plan would typically include acupuncture and nutritional and herbal guidance designed to treat your specific condition. In addition, Jess can provide coaching on ways you can take charge of your own health and wellbeing.

Jess saved me from insanity in my 40s! I cannot impress enough upon women of any stage of hormonal change to use Chinese medicine. Jess did excellent work to get rid of my hot flushes in a matter of weeks.
